An Investment in your Employees

The Nashville Area Red Cross is
asking your company to Join the 10,000.

Why 10,000?

-10,000 Disaster Volunteers
-10,000 Blood Donors
-10,000 CPR Certifications
-10,000 Resources

The Red Cross vision is to make Middle Tennessee the SAFEST and MOST PREPARED region in the country.

Disaster -Middle Tennessee is prone to disaster. Whether your Red Cross is responding to a single family house fire, flood or a massive tornado, we can’t do it alone. We need skilled professionals to help us with things like opening a shelter, logistics, feeding, staffing, damage assessment, fundraising and public relations.

CPR/First Aid/AED- More than 300,000 Americans suffer from cardiac arrest each year. CPR/First Aid/AED makes all the difference. By using an AED during cardiac arrest, the survival rate is 70 percent. The survival rate when an AED is not used is only five percent.

Blood Donation- About 38 percent of Americans are able to give blood. Only five percent actually give. It’s one of the easiest things you can do to save a life. One unit of blood can save up to three lives.

Resources-When disaster strikes, it takes an army to respond. Besides manpower, your Red Cross needs things like supplies, tarps. Flashlights, snacks, bottled water, trucks, drivers, and more.
