Where Does My Donation Go?
Ninety-one cents of every dollar spent by the American Red Cross is invested in humanitarian services and programs. The Red Cross in Middle Tennessee provides the following services to Middle Tennessee communities:
- Grief counseling, toiletry items, shelter, replacement for medication and eyeglasses and financial assistance to hundreds of Middle Tennesseans affected by flooding or fires each year.
- Adult/Infant and Child CPR/First Aid/AED to thousands of Middle Tennesseans, as well as Babysitter’s Training
- Deploy volunteers to major disasters locally and across the country to provide relief to those affected by floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, winter storms and other disasters.
- Help thousands of military families in our region transfer emergency messages to their loved one deployed, helping them stay connected to family members during a difficult separation.
